John joined the Board of Directors of ISM Canada in January, 2005

Appointed to his current position with IBM Canada, Global Services, in January of 2004, he is responsible for the entire portfolio of IBM professional and consulting services across the broadest and most diverse customer business segment in Canada.

John and his team are responsible to shape our strategy for this important market and develop solutions for our customers business challenges that drive measureable and specific business results. In addition to directing a dynamic and diverse go to market team of sales and services subject matter experts, John also has responsibility for strategic alliances as well as channel development and enablement on behalf of IBM Global Services in Canada.

Prior to his appointment to his current position John led the Integrated Technology Services (ITS) line of business in Canada. ITS, comprising over 2,500 skilled professionals, was responsible for the delivery of infrastructure enablement services and solutions, as well as hardware and software support for the Canadian marketplace.

Bringing over 25 years of IBM and industry specific knowledge to the role, John strives to bring a dimention of business thought leadership and creativity to every engagement and opportunity.

John holds a diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology from Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology (Hamilton) and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from the University of Toronto.
