ISM Canada is a leading corporate participant in Regina's annual United Way Campaign.   We also support such community organizations as the Globe Theatre, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Regina Dragon Boat Festival and the Saskatchewan Science Centre.

The United Way and ISM Canada:  We're ... Giving a Little to Help A Lot

ISM Canada is a leading corporate contributor to the United Way, a community service organization with 37 member agencies that collectively serve to advance the social, economic, recreational, and educational well-being of Regina.

Among the activities ISM Canada and IBM (Saskatchewan) support are: the Day of Caring above, the annual corporate fundraising campaign, as well as making technology grants to member organizations through IBM Canada Ltd.  ISM Canada employees also volunteer their time for the United Way and its member agencies.

Dan McMurtry, CEO of ISM Canada is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Regina, one of many leadership roles he has held with the organization.  Many other employees are active in supporting annual campaigns, as loaned representatives, or as volunteers in a variety of member organizations.

In 2003, ISM Canada employees donated a record $42,000, and 41 employees decided to become leadership givers (donating at least $500 per year) - up from 35 a year earlier.

No community is complete without a vibrant arts scene, and ISM Canada takes pride in more than decade as a sponsor of the Globe Theatre.  In recent years, the company has been a production sponsor of a mainstage comedy in the Globe Theatre's annual season.

ISM Canada is pleased to support the Saskatchewan Roughriders, our home team.  We were also proud to sponsor the Grey Cup Festival.  Part of that sponsorship entailed providing application development services to the award-winning Grey Cup Festival web site, through our e-business Solution Centre (e-bSC).
