ISM Canada is seeking Application Developers to join our Application Services team. Application Developers design, develop, and implement solutions based on specific business and client requirements. We’re looking for candidates who possess sound knowledge of object-oriented development using Java and other open source technologies, iterative development methods and practices, as well as strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience across the whole lifecycle of software delivery, including analysis, design, build, and test. They have knowledge and experience using a variety of technologies that make up the development and deployment environment of a modern information technology practice, including Application Servers, Source Code Management, Integrated Development Environments, Development Frameworks, Persistence Tools, Databases, Testing Tools, Automated Deployment Tools, and Application Security Tools. Familiarity with iterative development methods such as the Rational Unified Process would be beneficial.

Candidates must have a recognized diploma related to computer software or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Certifications are considered an asset.
