Farhaz Thobani, Vice President of Infrastructure Services, IBM Canada Ltd., leads an organization that designs, builds and runs the foundational systems that are relied upon by businesses in Canada and around the world.
As the Vice President of Infrastructure Services, Farhaz is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing the day-to-day operations of IBM’s services business in Canada. This includes the end-to-end infrastructure services and support of numerous Canadian Fortune 100 clients across multiple industries. In this fast-paced environment, Farhaz partners with clients in their digital transformation journey to modernize their application and IT environments, streamline their processes, and optimize their costs.
Farhaz has held a variety of IBM Senior management and Chief Financial Officer positions in IBM Canada over the past 20 years. Prior to his current position he was responsible for IBM Canada’s infrastructure business lines including Hybrid Cloud, Digital Workplace Services, Network Services, Security & Business Resiliency Services.
Farhaz received his MBA from the Schulich School of business at York University. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Centre for Outsourcing Research and Education (CORE) and is the Chairman of the Board for the ISM Canada Corporation.
