Mark MacLeod is a thirty-year veteran of the technology industry, having built, sold, led and turned around over half a dozen organizations by leveraging the power of technology to build strong and successful companies. Mark is an accomplished businessperson, being recognized as the leader of a Saskatchewan Business of the Year, serving on a Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee, and holding CEO positions in both private and Crown corporations, as well as acting as chair and advisor to many local and provincial boards.
Most recently, Mark was appointed President and CEO of ISM Canada, Saskatchewan’s largest IT firm and a wholly owned subsidiary of IBM Canada. ISM Canada services the Western provinces with offices in British Columbia, Alberta, with headquarters in Saskatchewan. Under Mark’s leadership, ISM Canada has been named a Canada Top 100 Company for the fifth consecutive year, that in addition to being named a Saskatchewan Top 100 Company, a Canada Top Family-Friendly Company and a SaskBusiness Top 100 Company.
Mark is a true visionary leader, turning around companies to face their customers, first. As a result of this vision, companies Mark has led have gone on to become more profitable, recognized at the highest levels by Excellence Canada for customer service and become leading-edge innovators and manufacturers in their fields. In addition, Mark has been noted in various publications, such as Dr. Don Carmont’s book, The Naked Mentor and in a recent SaskBusiness Magazine article, ("Hoodies and Suits") for his exemplary visionary leadership,
Mark is also generous with his time outside of work, having mentored and still actively mentoring many young professionals in their careers, playing guitar in a local band, and driving his tractor on the weekends. Most important to Mark is spending time with his family; Mark’s wife, Carla, and daughters Rebecca and Melissa, both studying at the University of Saskatchewan.
