2020 Microsoft IMPACT Awards
And the winner is….
The anticipation and excitement created by receiving a nomination for a prestigious award is remarkable. For the 2020 Microsoft Canada IMPACT Awards ISM Canada was honoured to be nominated alongside some of Canada’s top Microsoft service providers across the board. The nomination came as a wonderful surprise and is a direct reflection of the investment our organization is making in developing new skills and competencies in all areas of our business.
The winners were announced at the Microsoft Inspire global digital event on July 22 with ISM Canada taking the top prize in the Tech Intensity category. If you follow the ISM Canada LinkedIn page you may have noticed a number of posts early this year of “class photos” that showcased some of the ISM’ers who had recently completed in-class training for a variety of courses and certifications. In mid-March we moved to a fully remote delivery model to maintain the momentum we had created earlier in the year.
I believe it was this deep investment in the training and certifications that resulted in our nomination and ultimately our success in winning the Tech Intensity award.
When an entire organization like ours channels the focus, commits to doing the hard work, supports each other, and celebrates the successes along the way nothing can hold us back. We have been rapidly building our Microsoft practice over the last few years and have realized some big wins with our customers, employees, and partners along the way. In 2020 we doubled down on our innovation mindset in the Microsoft space, encouraging all employees to build up their skills and expertise through the various training programs and certifications such as the Azure Fundamentals, Developer, and Architecture learning paths.
While we did not set out with the intention of achieving this recognition, it certainly is a testament to our hard work and successful investment in our team. This investment will continue to pay dividends as we work with our customers and partners to provide industry-leading solutions that help prepare businesses for success today and into the future.
