Laura Hartwell

Laura is a transformational and authentic leader, recognized for building and leading high-performance teams. Leveraging leading technology innovations like Cloud and Cognitive Intelligence, Laura and her teams pride themselves on creating value for their clients in both enterprise and public sectors.
As a member of IBM Canada’s executive team, Laura is responsible for IBM’s sales in Western Canada and the Caribbean.
Laura graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction. A life-long learner, she has enjoyed taking many executive education courses at the University of Boston through IBM’s extensive training program.
Laura serves on the Board of Directors for ISM Canada, headquartered in Regina. She is also a member of the Advisory Committee for the Global Business Forum and is a committee member of #SHEINNVOATES, a Global UN Women’s initiative. She loves to walk her dog, ideally with her two sons and husband, but they are optional.
