A newly developed application by ISM Canada offers customers significant time savings and enhanced user experience through an intuitive and user-centric interface.
The client, a leading utility company from western Canada was faced with an issue. The legacy Human Resource Information System (HRIS) had an outdated UI and was difficult to use, requiring significant hours of manual data entry; paystubs were distributed on paper, which caused privacy concerns; and vacation planning was an arduous process. Thousands of employees spent significant time on this process. The client realized that the cost of this outdated application was staggering, as a result, the company reached out to ISM Canada to create a better solution.
ISM Canada, in partnership with the client, developed an application that can run on both web and mobile platforms. The new application was integrated with the client’s HR legacy system to eliminate the need for manual employee data entry. This improved the user experience and reduced time spent on the vacation planning process.
Using the new application, the client realized a significant reduction in time spent on the vacation planning process. The client’s employees could now spend more time on business tasks and projects rather than administrative tasks. As an added benefit, the new user interface increased accuracy by reducing manual inputs.
